Nophos effectively prevents the development of algae by acting directly on the phosphates on which they feed. Its formulation is highly concentrated in lanthanum, a chemical compound that fixes and agglomerates phosphates so that they are retained by the filter and then eliminated.
Nophos is used as a curative treatment in the event of regular algae problems or a high presence of phosphates in the water (> 0.1 mg/l). Nophos can also be used as a weekly preventive treatment for swimming pools equipped with cartridge or diatomaceous earth filters.
Nophos is compatible with all treatment methods and filtration systems.
