A rental villa has no room for a cloudy pool on arrival day. Whether you look after one house for an owner abroad or a portfolio of villas on both sides of the island, we can help you keep every pool ready for guests.
What villa pools need on this island
Villa pools in Terres Basses, Cupecoy, Orient Bay or around Simpson Bay all face the same conditions: water between 27 and 30 °C all year, strong sun that burns off chlorine that is not stabilised, sudden tropical downpours and, on the east coast, wind and sargassum. Add guests who swim many times a day with sun cream, and a pool can change fast between two visits.
That is why we recommend stabilised chlorine such as Bayrol Chlorilong or Stabichloran, a regular pH check, and a few recovery products kept on site: a shock treatment like Desalgin Shock, a flocculant like Superflock and a waterline cleaner like Bordnet. Water is expensive on the French side, so recovering a pool is always better than draining it.
Supplies for several villas, from one store
Managing several properties means buying the same products again and again. We stock the core of a villa pool routine in both household and professional sizes:
- Water treatment: stabilised chlorine tablets and granules, liquid chlorine, pH plus and pH minus, algaecides, flocculants and phosphate remover (Nophos).
- Professional sizes: 25 kg tubs and 20 L containers for teams that service many pools. See our trade accounts page.
- Cleaning accessories: leaf nets, brushes, vacuum heads, telescopic poles, test strips, thermometers and Pool'Gom sponges.
- Salt pool care: 25 kg salt bags, Salt QuickTest and Cellule Rénov for the cell.
- Spa care: Bayrol SpaTime for villas with a hot tub.
You can order online from the shop or collect at the store in Baie Nettlé. If you buy regularly for several houses, contact us so we can discuss what suits your volumes.
Pool maintenance on quote
Mister Pool also offers pool maintenance. For villas, tell us how many pools you manage, where they are and how they are used (long-term, seasonal rental, owner visits), and we will tell you what we can take on and send a quote. We do not publish fixed prices because every portfolio is different.
For owners who live abroad
If you own a villa in St Martin and live in North America or Europe, you need someone you can reach easily and who knows the local conditions. Ask us what follow-up we can provide after each visit and how we can work with your villa manager or caretaker.
Hurricane season and storm recovery
From June to November, every villa manager has a hurricane plan. For the pool, it means securing loose equipment, keeping the right products in stock before a storm and acting quickly afterwards, when the water is full of debris. Restocking by sea can take time after a major storm, so having supplies on the island matters. Read our hurricane pool preparation guide.
Villa managers: common questions
Can you supply several villas at once?
Yes. You can order for several properties online or in store, and use professional sizes for larger needs. Contact us if you want to organise regular orders.
Do you maintain villa pools?
Yes, pool maintenance is available on quote. Tell us how many pools you manage and where they are, and we will tell you what we can do.
Do you have trade terms for property managers?
Ask us. Our trade accounts page explains how we work with professionals buying in volume.
Which products should a villa keep on site?
At minimum: stabilised chlorine, pH correctors, test strips, a shock treatment and a leaf net. We are happy to put together a list for your pools in store.
